New student at UNSW?

How do I improve my Aikido and my Fitness?

The best way to improve is to show up to class regularly and listen to your instructors.

Stay up to date with the latest recommendations from medical scientits. Current advice is to ensure high levels of ventilation for indoor environments. Exercise common sense and stay home if even a little sick. Wear a P2/ N95 respirator in public indoor spaces, where physical distancing cannot be maintained.

Research shows that about 10% of covid19 infections result in chronic illness or other long term health problems such as auto-immune disorders. Chronic illness will not help improve your Aikido.

Covid19 is an airborne virus. N95/ P2 masks drastically reduce chance of infection. For scientific research into effective mask use click here.

If you get sick do a covid test and stay away from training until you are well. Read UNSW Aikido’s covid plan here.
